Lowell, MA - A fire engulfed the entire backside and second and third floors of 6-12 Cross Street on Saturday morning, displacing 36 residents in the Acre neighborhood. The Lowell Fire Department responded to the blaze about 7:20 a.m., and found heavy fire showing from the second and third floors upon arrival. Commanders eventually struck three alarms as crews battled the flames. “They quickly knocked down the fire from both inside and outside the building,” fire Chief Jeffrey Winward said in an email.
Property Protection Monitoring, Inc.’s Jorge M. notified the Lowell Fire Department within six (6) seconds of the alarm coming into the Monitoring Station.

Property Protection Monitoring, Inc. dispatched quickly this past Sunday. - Ten people were displaced following a one-alarm fire that broke out in a rear apartment unit behind the Acre Sports Pub on Fletcher Street at around 7:45 a.m. Sunday.
The sprinkler system was activated and contained the fire until Lowell firefighters arrived on scene and quickly extinguished the blaze, according to Lowell Fire Chief Jeff Winward.
"Because of a working fire-alarm system, all occupants of the building were able to escape from the fire without injury," Winward said.

6/9/17 - Property Protection Monitoring, Inc. dispatched quickly on the last night’s 12-unit apartment building fire at 361 Hildreth Street in Lowell, MA. There were no injuries according to Fire Chief Jeffrey Winward.
